Ethical Christmas-time gift-giving.

According to GMTV, which cited research by Present Aid, enthusiasm for ethical gifting in Britain has spawned the tiresome term Yuleanthropy:

22 percent of people surveyed want to make a real difference with their gifts – they are using Christmas gift giving as a way to show their own ‘Yuleanthropic’ side.

Apparently, “20 percent of women said they would like to find an ethical gift under their Christmas tree just as much as they would like to receive sexy lingerie.”
